Porous Sintered Titanium Metal Filter
Material:Pure titanium
Size:OD30*2.5*250mm
Pore size:1-180microns
Porosity:30-40%
Density:4.5g/cm²
Product Introduction
Porous Sintered Titanium Metal Filters are manufactured using high-purity titanium powder (≥99%) through a powder metallurgy process that includes compacting and high-temperature sintering. The result is a rigid, porous structure with uniform pore size and excellent mechanical strength, ideal for filtration of liquids and gases under extreme conditions.
The controlled pore distribution (typically 1–180 μm) ensures high filtration efficiency, low pressure drop, and long service life, even in high-temperature or corrosive environments.

Manufacturing Process
Milling – Titanium powder is prepared and its particle size is precisely controlled.
Mixing – Powder is mixed with a binder and lubricant to ensure uniformity.
Compaction – The mixture is pressed into the desired shape ("green compact") under high pressure.
Sintering (Firing) – The compacted part is heated in a vacuum or inert atmosphere above the melting point of the binder. The binder burns off and titanium particles fuse together, forming a solid porous structure.
Cooling – The sintered part is gradually cooled to achieve structural integrity.
Finishing – Final machining and surface treatment are performed to achieve the required size, tolerance, and connector configuration.
Applications
Steam Filtration
Stable performance under high temperature and moisture exposure.
