Nitinol (NiTi) Shape Memory Alloy Wire
Diameter:0.1-2.0mm Performance:shape memory/superelastic Surface:polished/black MOQ:1kg
Product Introduction
Nitinol (Nickel-Titanium alloy) wire is a shape memory and superelastic alloy widely used in medical devices, robotics, aerospace, and precision engineering applications.
One of its most critical performance parameters is the Af (Austenite Finish) temperature, which determines the temperature at which the alloy fully recovers its shape and exhibits superelastic behavior.
Although Ni content typically ranges from 54.5% to 57.0%, in accordance with ASTM F2063-18, the Af temperature is highly sensitive to small variations in chemical composition and thermo-mechanical processing history. Therefore, precise grading and composition control are essential for consistent performance.
At Changsheng Titanium, each Nitinol grade is carefully identified and controlled using a detailed alloy coding system to ensure stable and repeatable functional properties.
Nitinol Wire Key Characteristics
