Controllable pore size and pores
Stable shape
High filtration accuracy
Product Introduction
Components and characteristics:
Stainless Steel 316L: This grade of stainless steel is commonly used in applications where corrosion resistance is paramount, such as in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries. It contains a higher percentage of molybdenum than 304 stainless steel, providing enhanced resistance to corrosion, especially in chloride environments.
Sintering Process: Sintering is a manufacturing process where powdered materials, in this case, stainless steel, are compacted and heated to form a solid mass without melting. This process creates a porous structure with interconnected voids, which is ideal for filtration purposes.
Filtration Capabilities: The sintered structure of the filter allows fluids or gases to pass through while trapping solid particles or contaminants. The size and distribution of the pores can be precisely controlled during the sintering process, enabling customization of filtration efficiency and flow rates.
High Temperature and Pressure Resistance: Stainless steel 316L is known for its excellent mechanical properties, including high temperature and pressure resistance. This makes 316L sintered filters suitable for use in demanding industrial environments where filtration under extreme conditions is required.
Chemical Compatibility: 316L stainless steel has superior chemical resistance compared to other stainless steel grades, making it suitable for filtering a wide range of liquids and gases, including corrosive fluids.

Process
It is made: The stainless steel powder is made by crushing the stainless steel material into small pieces, then using a grinder to grind the stainless steel pieces into powder, and then using a sieve to sift the powder to obtain the desired powder size.
Forming the filter: it's spread on a special forming machine, and the filter plate is formed by pressing it with a mold.
Sintering the filter plate: The formed filter plate is heated and sintered to form a dense metal material, and at the same time, the metal material is slightly melted to form a pore, which is used for filtering.
Finishing the Sintered Filter: it's polished and finished to obtain a smooth surface, and the pores of the filter plate are also opened and cleaned.
Application
It is widely used in the chemical industry, they are used for filtration, diffusion, and other chemical processes.
