Introduction
Titanium reducers are available in both concentric and eccentric types and are widely used in industrial piping systems to connect pipes of different diameters.
We manufacture titanium eccentric and concentric reducers from NPS 1/4" up to 48", covering a wide range of industrial applications.
Material Selection
Gr2 – Excellent corrosion resistance, especially suitable for chlor-alkali plants.
Gr7 – Superior performance in acidic environments, particularly ideal for acid regeneration systems in large steel plants.
Gr12 – Contains molybdenum and nickel, offering improved corrosion resistance in specific media compared to Gr2, while being more cost-effective than Gr7.
Reducers in Gr2 / Gr7 / Gr12 are manufactured in accordance with:
ASTM International – ASTM B363
ASME – ASME SB363
ASME B16.9 (Dimensional Standard)
Reducers ≤ 4" (inclusive) are formed from seamless pipes.
Reducers above 4" are fabricated by welding Gr2 titanium plates, with all weld seams 100% radiographically inspected (X-ray test).

Reducers are typically supplied in the standard bell-shaped configuration used for other metallic piping materials. This shape is achieved by spinning, forging, or machining.
In some cases, eccentric or concentric reducers may be supplied as formed cones. Care must be taken to ensure that conical designs meet system pressure and flow requirements.
