TC4, also known as Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5), is the most widely used medium-to-high strength titanium alloy. As a modified α+β alloy, it offers the best balance of mechanical properties, processability, and weldability, making it the first titanium alloy extensively applied in the aerospace industry.
