Three Classifications Of Titanium Alloys

Titanium alloys have three matrix structures (titanium alloy structures with different structures). Titanium alloys are divided into the following three categories: α alloys, (α+β) alloys and β alloys.

1.α titanium alloy

2.β titanium alloy

Single-phase alloy (composed of one kind of alloy) has higher strength. The alloy is further strengthened after quenching and aging, but its thermal stability is poor, so it is not suitable for use at high temperatures.

3.α+β titanium alloy

It is a dual-phase alloy (composed of two alloys), with good comprehensive properties, good structure stability, good toughness, plasticity and high temperature deformation properties, can perform hot pressure processing well, can be quenched and aging Alloy strengthening. Its thermal stability is inferior to α titanium alloy.
