Product Introduction
Titanium Conductor Bar is made of Grade 1 titanium ribbon, meet the standard of ASTM B265. It can be used for distributing cathodic protection current to an MMO titanium-based anode system. It is generally used along with MMO ribbon anodes and MMO mesh anodes for cathodic protection of above ground storage tank bottoms and in concrete structures.
It use Grade 1 titanium strip has more advantages, you can see below;
1. Lightweight – 100 feet of the 1/2" (12.7mm) ribbon weighs slightly more than 2lb;
2. Ductile – composite materials eliminate problems with breakage of brittle materials such as graphite and silicon iron;
3. Dimensional stability eliminates issues associated with connection seals;
4. Compatible with a wide range of cathodic protection media (water, coke, seawater, brackish water);
5. Superior corrosion resistance compared to graphite, silicon iron, and other alternative materials;
6. Conveniently cut and welded in the field to suit various geometries;
