Product Introduction

Gr7 titanium plate is a type of titanium alloy plate that is composed primarily of titanium, with 0.12%~0.25% palladium added to improve its corrosion resistance. Titanium plate grade 7 is a low-density alloy that has excellent resistance to corrosion in a range of environments, including seawater, industrial acids, and mild reducing environments.

It is commonly used in various industries, including aerospace, marine, chemical processing, and medical, due to its high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance. The Grade 7 titanium plate is available in various sizes, thicknesses, and specifications to meet different application requirements.

The manufacturing process for it involves melting the titanium and palladium together, followed by hot or cold rolling to produce the desired thickness and shape. The plate is then typically subjected to annealing or stress-relieving to improve its mechanical properties and can be finished with a variety of surface treatments, such as polishing, sandblasting, or anodizing. Changsheng Titanium is a professional titanium plate suppliers since 2001 from China.

Acid regeneration

It is commonly used in acid regeneration processes due to its excellent corrosion resistance in highly acidic environments. Acid regeneration is a process used in the chemical industry to recover and reuse spent acids, such as hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4), that are generated during various chemical processes.

In acid regeneration, the Grade 7 titanium plate is often used in acid tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipment that come into contact with the corrosive acid. titanium plate grade 7 is preferred over other materials, such as stainless steel, because it has superior corrosion resistance to acids, particularly in high-temperature and high-pressure applications.

Titanium Gr7 is called Ti-Pd alloy with high anti-corrosion, and Pd content is 0.12-0.25%. By adding Palladium, the titanium gr7 plate is even more resistant to corrosion than titanium grade 2, due to the high palladium content. The Titanium Gr7 plate is very resistant to corrosion. Thus, for example, titanium grade 7 is resistant to salt water and is suitable for handling chloride media. In addition, titanium Grade 7 plate is resistant to erosion or impacts and is preferably used in chemical plants. Because of these traits, this material is often used in chemical production processes and applications within the production equipment. We are the Gr7 titanium plate suppliers with more than 20 years of experience and can supply technical data.
