Tungsten sheet

Tungsten sheet

99% Pure Tungsten Plate/Sheet,Tungsten (W) sheet
Material: Tungsten
Standard: ASTM B760 or GB3875-83
Applications of W tungsten sheet:For producing electric light source parts, components of electric vacuum;producing W-boats,heat shield and heat bodies in high temperature furnace.

Product Introduction

Tungsten sheet is a flat rolled product made from high-purity tungsten metal. Due to its extremely high melting point (3422°C), high density, excellent thermal conductivity, and outstanding mechanical strength at elevated temperatures, tungsten is widely used in demanding high-temperature and high-radiation environments.

High-purity tungsten sheets (typically ≥99.95% W) are commonly used in vacuum furnaces, aerospace, electronics, medical equipment, and nuclear applications.

Tungsten sheet products can be manufactured through powder metallurgy, rolling, and precision machining processes, enabling a wide range of thicknesses and dimensions to meet various industrial requirements.

Manufacturing Process

Tungsten sheets are typically produced through the following processes:

  1. Powder metallurgy (tungsten powder sintering)

  2. Hot rolling

  3. Cold rolling

  4. Annealing

  5. Surface finishing and precision machining

These processes ensure high density, uniform structure, and excellent dimensional accuracy.
