Titanium Steel Composite Tube

Titanium Steel Composite Tube

Titanium / steel composite tube pipe, uses internal pressure molds technology to produce frictional shrinkage of the inner and outer pipes, converting part of the mechanical energy into thermal energy, so that the inner pipe reaches the first softening point; the two material can interference and closely fit.

Product Introduction

Titanium–steel composite tube combines the high strength and economy of steel with the superior corrosion resistance of titanium. The structure provides excellent mechanical stability, compact design, and low energy consumption, making it a high-performance solution for demanding industrial environments.

Key Advantages

High structural strength with reduced weight

Excellent corrosion resistance (titanium layer protection)

Compact and energy-efficient design

Stable long-term performance

Improved thermal and mechanical reliability

Technical Requirements

1. Titanium Layer Thickness

Thickness range: 0.8 – 3.0 mm (customizable)

Uniformity requirement: ±20% tolerance

Ensures consistent corrosion protection and service life

2. Bonding Rate

Minimum bonding area: ≥ 95%

Higher bonding rate = better electrical/thermal conductivity

Tested via JB/100G A-type pulse ultrasonic flaw detection

3. Bonding Strength

Must resist delamination under thermal expansion and contraction

Verified through machining exposure (turning/milling test)

When titanium layer remains 0.3–0.5 mm without separation, bonding is considered qualified
