Temperature-Dependent Behavior

Superelastic performance depends on the material's Active Austenite Finish Temperature (Af):

Superelasticity is achieved when Af is below operating temperature

Typical room-temperature applications use Af: 0°C – 20°C

Working range extends from Af up to ~50°C above Af

Example:

Af ≈ 15°C → stable superelasticity up to ~65°C
