Product Introduction
Product Description
Ruthenium–iridium coated titanium anodes are dimensionally stable anodes (DSA) manufactured by coating high-purity titanium substrates with a catalytic mixed metal oxide layer containing ruthenium oxide (RuO₂) and iridium oxide (IrO₂).
The titanium base provides excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, while the Ru/Ir coating provides outstanding electrochemical catalytic activity and conductivity.
These anodes are widely used in electrochemical water treatment, desalination, electrodeposition, and industrial wastewater treatment.
Structure & Manufacturing Technology
Base Material: ASTM B265 Grade 1 Titanium
Coating Materials:
Ruthenium-based oxide
Iridium-based oxide
Platinum-based coating (optional depending on environment)
Manufacturing methods include:
Thermal decomposition coating
Electrochemical deposition
