Product Introduction
Product Description
Titanium electrolytic cell anodes are specially designed electrodes used in sodium hypochlorite and chlorine generation electrolysis systems.
The anodes are manufactured using high-purity titanium substrates coated with advanced multi-component mixed metal oxide (MMO) catalytic coatings, such as quaternary or quinary rare metal oxide formulations.
Compared with traditional ruthenium-iridium coating systems, advanced MMO coatings provide:
Lower energy consumption
Higher electrolysis efficiency
Longer service life
Better chlorine evolution performance
Energy consumption can be reduced by 10–20% compared with conventional coatings.
Product Structure & Types
Available electrode configurations include:
Pipe type electrodes
Mesh type electrodes
Plate type electrodes
Electrolyzer structural designs include:
Tubular circulation structures
Internal cooling structures
Single-electrode modular structures
Series connection electrolysis systems
Manufacturing Technology
Titanium substrate: High-purity titanium with special surface treatment
Coating technology: Advanced rare metal oxide catalytic coating
Protective treatment: Anti-corrosion interface protection to prevent substrate degradation from scale deposition
Special treatment is applied to prevent corrosion caused by deposits such as Mg(OH)₂ scaling during electrolysis operation.
Technical Advantages
Very low electrode overpotential (~0.2V lower than platinum-coated electrodes)
High chlorine evolution current efficiency
Excellent durability under high current density
Strong anti-fouling performance
Stable electrochemical catalytic activity
Long operational lifetime
