Manufacturing Process
Explosion Bonding
A copper rod is inserted into a titanium tube. Controlled explosive energy bonds the titanium and copper metallurgically, forming a high-strength composite bar.
Hot Rolling Process
The bonded bar is hot-rolled to the required diameter and dimensional tolerance.
Quality Control
Non-destructive testing (NDT) is conducted to ensure:
Strong metallurgical bonding
No delamination
No internal defects
Reliable structural integrity
Advantages
Efficient Energy Consumption
Low resistance enables smoother current flow and reduces energy loss.
Superior Durability
Titanium cladding extends service life to more than 10 times compared with conventional materials in corrosive environments.
Reliable Bonding
Explosion + rolling process ensures permanent bonding and prevents liquid penetration or separation.
