Titanium Venturi Gr2 Gr7
Titanium Venturi
Material:gr2 and gr7(Ti-Pd0.12%~0.25%)
Dimension:as customized
Equipment and facilities manufactured based on the Venturi effect, such as Venturi water film dust collector, Venturi diffusion tube, Venturi shrink tube, Venturi jet pump, Venturi flowmeter, etc.
Product Introduction
Titanium Venturi is a precision device used for gas–liquid mixing, gas flow measurement, and vacuum generation. It operates based on the Venturi principle: when fluid passes through a narrowed throat, velocity increases and pressure decreases, creating a localized vacuum.
This vacuum effect enables gas entrainment, suction, or adsorption, making the device highly effective in chemical and process industries.
Working Principle
The Venturi consists of two tapered sections connected by a narrow throat:
Compressed gas enters through the inlet
As the cross-section narrows, velocity increases and pressure drops
A vacuum zone forms at the throat
Surrounding gas or liquid is drawn into the system
Flow stabilizes in the diffusion section, reducing turbulence and impact
A muffler or diffuser is often used to minimize airflow shock and noise.

Key Features
Superior Corrosion Resistance
Resistant to strong acids, alkalis, and oxidizing media (including chlorine environments).
Efficient Mixing & Suction
Generates stable vacuum zones for effective gas entrainment and mixing.
High Temperature Stability
Titanium performs reliably under elevated temperatures.
Long Service Life
Significantly longer lifespan compared to stainless steel in harsh conditions.
Low Maintenance
Simple structure with no moving parts reduces wear and maintenance costs.
Applications
Chemical reactors (especially chlorine and nitric acid systems)
Gas absorption and scrubbing systems
Vacuum generation and suction systems
Process gas mixing and flow measurement
Performance Advantage vs Stainless Steel
In highly corrosive environments such as hot nitric acid systems:
Stainless steel components may require replacement every ~6 months
Titanium Venturi (Gr2/Gr7) can operate continuously for 5–10 years
This significantly reduces lifecycle cost and downtime, despite higher initial investment.
Summary
Titanium Venturi combines efficient fluid dynamics performance with exceptional corrosion resistance, making it an ideal solution for demanding chemical processing environments, particularly those involving chlorine and strong oxidizing acids.
