1. APPLICATION:

For Chimney FGD project

2. CONDITION OF DELIVERY:

The clad plates shall be supplied in heat-treated condition.

3. MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION:

Base plate: Q235B/ A36 Steel

Cladding material: Gr.2 Titanium

4. SIZES and TOLERANCE:

Base metal thickness: 8mm+/-0.2mm

Clad metal thickness: 2mm+/-0.2mm

Length :12,000mm +10mm/0mm

Width: 2,000mm +10mm/0mm

5. Flatness of Cladded Plate:

Flatness shall be 5 mm/m and 8 mm/2m.

6. The method of bonding of cladding metal plate to base plate shall be explosion bonding and Hot Rolling

7. Freedom from Defects:

The material shall be clean, smooth, sound and free from injurious defects.

8. Test Samples:

Test Samples shall be selected and prepared as per ASTM A264. Number of tests and re-tests shall be carried out as per ASTM A264.
