Types of Plate Heat Exchangers

1. Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger

Plate pack consists of multiple heat plates, arranged to meet required heat transfer surface.

Gaskets ensure that fluid channels are securely sealed and direct the flow.

The frame encloses the plate pack and is tightened with bolts.

Inlet and outlet connections are usually in the fixed frame; for multi-pass flow, both fixed and movable frames may be used.

2. Semi-Welded Plate Heat Exchanger

Each unit consists of two plates welded together by laser along the sealing groove.

One side is sealed by welding, while the other side uses gaskets-making it easy to clean.

Special gaskets at the corner ports on the welded side minimize the total number of sealing gaskets required.

Ideal for processes requiring both sealing reliability and maintainability.

3. Multistage Titanium / Stainless Steel Plate Heat Exchanger

Designed for food, pharmaceutical, and highly corrosive environments.

Offers high heat transfer efficiency, compact structure, and flexible modular design.

Multiple sections can be assembled (two-stage, three-stage, or more) to meet customer technical requirements.
