Titanium Pipe

Titanium Pipe

Grade: Gr1, Gr2, Gr7, Gr9, Gr11, Gr12, Gr16 etc
Available in size range outside diameter 9.53–38.1 mm (3/8–1½ in.)
ASTM B 338 & ASME SB 338

Product Introduction

We are manufacturer, we can provide two types of titanium pipe/tube---seamless and welded

Titanium pipes are processed by titanium ingot,Then make tubes to appropriate size with a series of processes such as multiple rolling, annealing, pickling, and grinding technology. The titanium seamless pipe shall be made from hollow billet by any cold reducing or cold drawing process that will yield a product meeting the requirements prescribed.

It is done by selecting a suitable thickness of the high-quality cold rolled titanium plate, after the process of flattening, cutting, and washing, then rolling up the titanium pipe into a tubular, welding by the whole automatic welding equipment. Our advanced welding equipment guaranteed the quality of welding. Ultimately help to produce an excellent quality. The welded tube shall be made from the flat-rolled product by an automatic arc-welding process. It shall be sufficiently cold worked to the final size in order to transform the cast weld microstructure into a typical equiaxed microstructure in the weld upon subsequent heat treatment

Application

It have a wide range of applications due to their unique properties, such as high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and low density. Here are some common applications:

  1. 1. Chemical processing: titanium pipes are widely used in the chemical industry for their excellent resistance to various corrosive chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and salts. They are used in the production of chemicals such as chloralkali, sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid.

  2. 2. Oil and gas industry: It is used in the oil and gas industry for its high resistance to corrosion and erosion caused by high-pressure and high-temperature environments. They are used in pipelines, downhole tubing, and other critical applications.

    3. Aerospace and aviation: Titanium pipes are used in aerospace and aviation applications due to their high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent resistance to corrosion. They are used in aircraft components such as engine parts, hydraulic systems, and airframes.

  3. 4. Power generation: titanium weed pipe are used in power generation applications due to their excellent resistance to corrosion and erosion caused by high-temperature and high-pressure steam environments. They are used in power plants for the production of steam, such as in heat exchangers and condensers.
