Key Grades Overview
Gr1–4 (CP Ti): Increasing strength with grade, excellent corrosion resistance, good formability.
Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V): Most widely used; high strength, good biocompatibility, aerospace & medical.
Gr7: Similar to Gr2, with Pd addition for superior corrosion resistance.
Gr9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V): Balance of strength, formability, and weldability; used in aerospace tubing.
Gr12: Contains Mo + Ni, improved corrosion resistance in reducing acids.
