ISO 5832-2 Titanium Wire

ISO 5832-2 Titanium Wire

ISO 5832-2 titanium wire is for pure titanium such as gr1, gr2, gr3 and gr4.
ISO 5832-3 titanium wire is for alloy titanium Ti-6Al4V

Product Introduction

ISO 5832-2 is a standard especially for unalloyed titanium which is used in the manufacture of surgical implants. As titanium is close to human bones, which has good biocompatibility to human tissues, It has no toxic and side effects, and has advantages that other materials cannot match, so medical titanium alloys have been widely used in the medical field.

Unalloyed Titanium is composed of pure titanium only, such as gr1, gr2, gr3 and gr4. this is highly bio-compatible and soft. It is used for parts which do not require high strength but better formability (ductility). pure medical titanium wire is grade 1, which has the highest corrosion resistance, formability and lowest strength, to grade 4, which offers the highest strength and moderate formability.

Application

It is widely used in medical field centered on plastic surgery, dentistry and various medical devices.

1. From the moment the titanium is implanted into the human body, a series of changes have taken place in the metal materials for dental implants. The raw material of it has good affinity with human bone epithelial tissue and connective tissue, and its mechanical properties are also comparable to other types of dental , and its density is small, making the dentures feel comfortable. treatment, it can also meet the requirements of the beautiful appearance of plush teeth.

2. It is widely used in medical devices, as the medical titanium wire has good corrosion resistance, and the surface quality will not be affected by repeated cleaning and disinfection; titanium medical wire are non-magnetic and can eliminate the threat of damage to tiny and sensitive implanted devices; they are light in weight and can be used to replace stainless steel. The doctor is more flexible during operation, reducing the fatigue of the doctor. Therefore, It has been used to make surgical blades, hemostats, scissors, electric bone drills, tweezers and so on.
