Titanium tubular anodes are dimensionally stable anodes (DSA) based on a titanium substrate coated with noble metal oxides. According to the surface catalytic coating, they can be classified into oxygen evolution anodes and chlorine evolution anodes.

In general, an ideal electrode material should offer:
