Product Introduction

Titanium Venturi Scrubber is a type of air pollution control equipment that uses the principle of a venturi to remove pollutants from industrial exhaust streams. The scrubber is made of grade 7 titanium, which is a corrosion-resistant metal that can withstand harsh chemicals and high temperatures.

The Gr7 venturi scrubber works by forcing the exhaust gas stream through a narrow throat section of the scrubber, which creates a high-velocity jet of gas that induces a turbulent mixing of the gas and liquid streams. This mixing causes the pollutants to be captured by the liquid and removed from the gas stream.

The use of grade 7 titanium in the construction of the scrubber ensures that it can withstand highly corrosive gases and liquids without deteriorating or requiring frequent replacement. This makes it a popular choice for industries such as chemical processing, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical manufacturing, where highly corrosive materials are often used.

It is very traditional in every way, with a wet inlet to eliminate wet/dry zone build-up issues. The unit can be equipped with fixed, butterfly, or two-door venturi throats; smooth or submerged elbows, and traditional cyclonic mist separators. Larger separators can be equipped with radial inlets and mesh pads or chevron demister sections. We have many multi-venturi scrubber experiences, mainly in Gr7 venturi scrubber cases. The main shell pipe size is dia.168.3*thickness 4 * long 527. The structural materials of multi venturi scrubber are Grade 7 titanium, Ti 0.2pd, titanium palladium grade, grade 2 titanium, and unalloyed titanium.

venturi scrubber

Handles air flows: from 100 to 30,000 CFM

Removal method : absorption/chemisorption

Moderate gas absorption for soluble/reactive gases

Removes coarse solids including sand, gravel, metals and salts.

Effectively absorbs gas and removes large amounts of particulate matter

Effective scrubbing of air streams containing high concentrations of contaminants

Non-clogging, trouble-free design for the introduction of wash liquor.

Abrasion-resistant soaker elbow design prevents scrubber wear.

Cyclone separator for mist removal (no need to clean or replace mesh pads or chevrons).

Integral sump or separate recirculation system designs are available to minimize overall water usage.

Suitable for low-volume gas flows such as tank vents as stand-alone scrubbers

Application

This is commonly used in industries that produce highly corrosive gases and liquids, including:

  1. 1. Chemical Processing: Gr7 Venturi Scrubbers are used in chemical processing facilities to remove acid gases, such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid from the exhaust gas stream.

  2. 2. Petrochemical Manufacturing: Petrochemical plants produce a variety of corrosive gases, such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and chlorine. They use it to remove these pollutants from the exhaust gas stream.

  3. 3. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing: Pharmaceutical manufacturing involves the use of highly corrosive chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid. Muti Venturi Scrubbers are used to capture these pollutants and protect the environment.

  4. 4. Semiconductor Manufacturing: Semiconductor manufacturing requires the use of corrosive gases such as hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride, and sulfur dioxide. It is used to remove these pollutants from the exhaust gas stream to meet environmental regulations.
