Titanium Rod
Composition: Ti0.3Mo0.8Ni or TiMoNi alloy
Size: dia2.0 to dia 200mm
Standard: ASTM B348/ASTM B381
Product Introduction
Pure titanium or alloys containing other metals like vanadium or aluminum are used to make a titanium rod. The metal is much stronger when alloyed. Titanium is a very useful metal that is used in a lot of different fields, like architecture, aerospace, and the automotive industry.
Due to their resistance to corrosion and biocompatibility, which means that they can join human bone, titanium rods are frequently utilized in the medical field. Surgical instruments made of titanium rods stock are also used by dentists and doctors.

Fabrication properties:
• Weldability – Good
• Annealing – 732-816°C (1350-1500°F)
• Stress Relief Annealing – 538-649°C (1000-1200°F), 1 hr, AC.
• Feature: It is great in high-temperature applications. It boasts high weldability and is still very strong. It is similar to 200 series stainless steel, which makes it ideal for the following industries: heat exchangers, and marine and airfare components.
Application
It has a variety of applications including chemical processing, oil and gas industry, due to its high strength-to-weight ratio, good corrosion resistance, and good weldability. It also named Ti0.3Mo0.8Ni titanium rod and UNS R53400 titanium rods. It is often used in chemical processing equipment, where it is exposed to harsh chemical environments. It is also used in the oil and gas industry, where it is used in components for offshore drilling rigs, heat exchangers, and other equipment that is exposed to corrosive and high-pressure environments. Being the titanium rod stock supplier, we have more than 20 years of experience with various titanium and alloy rod. Please contact with us for more details.
