TC1 titanium bar aerospace grade

TC1 titanium aerosapce grade chemical composition is Ti2Al1.5Mn. It is most suitable for the manufacture of parts with complex shape stamping and welding, and has been widely used in the aerospace industry and civil industry.

Product Introduction

TC1 is a low-alloy α-type titanium alloy (Ti-2Al-1.5Mn) designed for applications requiring a balance of strength, formability, weldability, and thermal stability.

Aluminum (Al ~2%) acts as an α-phase stabilizer, providing solid solution strengthening

Manganese (Mn ~1.5%) acts as a β stabilizer, improving plasticity and workability

The alloy is classified as a near-α titanium alloy with excellent processing performance and slightly higher strength than commercially pure titanium.

Key Characteristics

Slightly higher strength than industrial pure titanium

Excellent hot and cold processing plasticity

Good weldability

Stable performance at elevated temperatures

Long-term service capability up to 350°C
