Product Introduction
Platinized titanium anodes are high-performance electrochemical electrodes used in the production of functional (electrolyzed) water. They consist of a titanium substrate (TA1) coated with a thin layer of platinum (Pt), which acts as an efficient catalyst during the electrolysis process.
These anodes are widely used in systems that generate alkaline and acidic functional water, which can be applied for cleaning, sterilization, disinfection, and hydrogen-rich water production.
Working Principle
During electrolysis:
Water containing electrolyte is subjected to DC current
At the electrodes, water splits into:
Alkaline water (cathode side)
Acidic water (anode side)
Reactive species such as hydroxyl radicals, hydrogen ions, and active oxygen compounds are generated
These species provide strong cleaning and antimicrobial effects
The platinum coating acts as a highly active catalyst, reducing activation energy and improving electrolysis efficiency.
