Titanium wire anodes are widely used in chrome plating electrochemical systems, where they serve as stable, corrosion-resistant positive electrodes. The anodes are manufactured using Gr1 titanium wire as the substrate, coated with either Iridium-Tantalum (Ir-Ta MMO coating) or Platinum (Pt coating) depending on the electrolyte system and process requirements.
These coatings are applied through multi-layer brushing + high-temperature sintering (Ir-Ta) or electroplating (Pt) to ensure strong adhesion and long-term stability.
