Titanium Round Rod
gr7 titanium including 0.12~0.25% palladium, this titanium material is more resistant to crevice corrosion than commercial pure titanium.
Product Introduction
Grade 7 titanium (Ti–0.2Pd) is an alpha titanium alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in mineral acids and strong brines. It exhibits physical and mechanical properties equivalent to Grade 2 titanium, with a small addition of 0.12–0.25% palladium (Pd) to enhance resistance in mildly reducing and fluctuating environments.
At room temperature, it remains a corrosion-resistant alpha phase alloy. It transforms to the beta phase at 913 °C, and returns to the alpha phase upon cooling at 890 °C.
